A sliding gate is an especially good solution where there isn’t enough space in the yard for a gate leaf to swing open, but there is room along the fence line for the gate to slide sideways.

With a self-supporting, so-called cantilever gate, the gate doesn’t run on a ground track set into the opening — it is guided instead by its own support structure.
This can be especially advantageous for heavier vehicle traffic, on industrial sites, or wherever a track set into the gate opening is undesirable.
For it to work properly, a rigid structure sized to the gate and a correctly built foundation matter especially.
We also fabricate pedestrian gates and other fence elements matching the vehicle gate, so the whole street-facing fence can be built with one coordinated design.
